Jordan Cummins

Director, UK Competitiveness

Jordan heads the CBI's UK Competitiveness department. He works with both political and industry leaders to tackle some of the UK’s biggest economic and societal challenges. As a member of the CBI's executive team, he recently led its organisational Purpose Review and launched the CBI’s first national Health & Life Science department.

Formerly, Jordan worked overseas and briefly for His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service within the Ministry of Justice. He holds an undergraduate degree in Law, with a specialist in corporate law and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy & Management, with a specialist in public service transformation. Jordan lives in Kent, campaigns locally, and serves as a member of several advisory groups and a Non-Executive Director on the UKActive Board.
