Edward West

Edward is an Economist within CBI Economics, whose work spans economic modelling, primary research and technical reporting. His work has included commissioned research combining large-scale business surveys with stakeholder interviews, such as a report for the University of Manchester on university collaboration and business growth, and a study for Bristol Airport on regional infrastructure connectivity. He also helped develop the methodology and delivered analysis for the Clean Air Fund's project on the health and economic co-benefits of air quality improvements, and contributes to CBI Economics' quarterly horizon scanning service for a nationally significant organisation.

Before joining CBI Economics, Edward worked as a junior economist at a macroeconomic consultancy, where he developed research and analytical skills across a range of economic policy areas.
