CBI responds to new employer test guidance

Lord Bilimoria, CBI President, said:

“The Government’s commitment to a mass testing programme for the whole population is incredibly ambitious, but absolutely the right course of action which is needed to build confidence for the public and businesses before a vaccine becomes available.

“Business will have a major role in helping to make it a true success and that means ensuring that private testing programmes are rigorous and working closely with NHS Test and Trace.

“The new guidance will prove very helpful as more and more businesses unveil their own testing plans in the weeks and months ahead.”
