CBI responds to Science and Technology Committee

“The select committee is spot on when it comes to the importance of future participation in European science and innovation.

“The UK’s business community has benefited greatly from working with their international counterparts on science and innovation projects over decades.

“European businesses and universities still see the UK as an integral part of their own innovation ecosystems and are keen to see this continue.

“The Government should state its intention to associate to Framework Programme 9 to reassure businesses that vital networks will be maintained, securing the UK’s leading role in the global science and innovation community.”
