Our comments on new British Ambassador to USA

Dame Carolyn Fairbairn DBE, CBI Director-General, said:

“We warmly congratulate Dame Karen on her appointment as British Ambassador to the United States of America.

“Her strong experience means she is particularly well placed to help steer the UK and British firms through negotiations on a trade deal that sets ambitions high, and creates prosperity, jobs and higher standards of living for people and communities on both sides of the Atlantic.
