New CBI campaign: Improving public procurement
The delivery of major UK infrastructure is critical to confidence in the construction sector. Government highlighted this during the Spending Review last week, but business agrees that it’s how government procures and manages major projects that impacts large and small firms across the country.

CBI supports sector Trade Associations on calls to reverse Domestic Reverse Charge
In July, 14 Construction Sector Trade Associations and the Federation of Small Businesses co-signed a letter to the chancellor Sajid Javid asking for a six-month delay to the introduction of the Domestic Reverse Charge. The CBI assisted with views on positioning the letter to government, and provided supporting reactive comment.
