Shape the future of the National Living Wage

Share your experiences to inform the CBI’s evidence to the Low Pay Commission

This September, the CBI will give evidence to the Low Pay Commission (LPC) on the future of the National Living Wage (NLW). We're keen to hear from members about their experiences so far and their capacity to accommodate future rises.

We're particularly interested in your feedback on:

  • How your business responded to the 2025 rise, from £11.44 to £12.21 (a 6.7% increase)
  • How you intend to respond to the 2026 rate, currently projected at £12.55-£12.86 (central estimate: £12.71)
  • The impact of the NLW on job design or organisational struct
