Alice Jeffries

Tax Policy Manager

Alice Jeffries is the CBI’s Tax Policy Manager. She has been with the CBI since 2021 and leads the CBI’s tax policy team. In this role, she supports tax policy development across the board and takes direct responsibility for the CBI’s work on international and direct taxation. As part of her role, she manages key relationships including the CBI’s own Tax Committee, international organisations including the Tax Committees at Business at the OECD and Business Europe, and government stakeholders including HMRC and Treasury ministers and officials.

Before joining the CBI Alice worked for seven years in private practice law at Freshfields and Taylor Wessing, providing tax advice for clients from individual business owners to FTSE 100 businesses. She is a Chartered Tax Adviser.
