CBI Political Briefing (North East, North West & Yorkshire and Humber)

The CBI’s Political Briefing is a local and national cross-economy event for senior leaders keen to learn more about the latest political landscape.

Following a national overview from CBI’s Public Affairs Advisor, Jake Canton-Perry, our three Regional Directors from across the North – Matt Bratton (North East), Helen Gbormittah (North West) and Beckie Hart (Yorkshire and Humber) – will share key insights from their recent engagement with local and combined authorities within their regions, and outline key takeaways from interactions with northern teams from government departments.

We will also be joined by a senior civil servant – to be confirmed shortly – for reflections on recent government announcements and upcoming activity that will impact the business community.

All delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions of speakers and contribute their insights and asks to steer CBI activity.
