Through industry peer-to-peer sharing and learning, HR leaders will address the key challenges and opportunities affecting their industry, including policy, law and workplace.

This session will focus on the Apprenticeship Levy.  Announced in 2015, the Levy aims to fund three million apprenticeships in the UK by 2020.  It affects all organisations above a certain size, committing them to either taking on apprentices or paying a percentage fee of their PAYE wage bill.  A year on from the apprenticeship reforms, we will review the latest intelligence, discuss feedback on how the system is working, and provide the chance for you and other CBI members to share their training strategies for the Levy. 

This interactive session will be led by Ed Richardson, CBI Senior Policy Adviser, Education and Skills.  There will also be a live demonstration of the Digital Apprenticeship Service and an opportunity for questions and answers.  The programme will be:
