People & Skills Network (Y&H)

Following our Q1 People and Skills network meeting on workplace culture, we were keen to continue this theme and therefore our Q2 event will be dedicated to focussing on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

We are all very aware that in today's ever-evolving landscape, embracing diversity isn't just an option—it's essential for driving innovation, growth, and lasting success,. However creating a diverse and inclusive workplace culture doesn’t happen overnight, it has to be nurtured and worked on and addressing some of the challenges that come with it require a holistic and sustained approach, with commitment from leadership, involvement of employees at all levels, and a willingness to confront and overcome barriers.

Beckie Hart, CBI Yorkshire & the Humber Regional Director, will facilitate a best practice learning session with business leaders and will be joined by Julie Dennis, Head of Inclusive Workplaces Policy, ACAS. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss challenges in embedding a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, learn from your peers and also share your success stories of impactful policies in a Chatham House setting.
