Government considering legislative changes to flexible working arrangements for all employees

The government has communicated its plans to make a series of legislative changes to existing rules around flexible working, and we want to get your input as part of our response to the consultation.

On Thursday 23 September, the government published its Making Flexible Working the Default consultation which considers proposals to reform flexible working regulations. It also published its response to the 2019 consultation on flexible working as part of the Good Work Plan, which the CBI responded to.
